Greetings from Mrs. Moss in sunny Florida! I am so delighted to be invited as a teacher with Inspired Virtual. I am thankful for this platform to teach truth and empowerment to each student, regardless of race, gender, and background. I am excited to come along with other wonderful teachers here at Inspired Virtual to support independent thinkers!

 

I am a life-long learner and teacher with a passion to draw students into the wonder and fulfilling journey of learning. My philosophy for teaching has always been to inspire students to dig for the truth, skillfully work out the details, and confidently stand by their convictions. 

 

I have been teaching for over 30 years. I have been a youth leader, where I taught hundreds of students and facilitated summer programs. I have taught English as a second language through literature and history at a Chinese university for six years. While there, I also facilitated and led English camps in rural China to aid English teachers and taught basic English songs, games, and lessons to students. After coming back to the states, I taught pre-algebra, history, and literature in a local private school. Now, I am in our eighth year of homeschooling, where I have also taught science and history to local homeschooling co-ops. Also, I am now in my sixth year of teaching online, with a 5-star status.

 

To say that I love teaching is an understatement. 

I am gifted with the ability to reach a child where they are and encourage him/her to be their own best version. 

 

My students will leave the class feeling that I am rooting for them with the confidence that they can surpass the stars!

Mrs. Moss is happily married to a wonderful man for almost 14 years. She is a work-from-home mom to an awesome, 12-year-old, who keeps her busy and praying. The Moss family loves going to the beach, eating dinners together, and telling family stories.
