Age Range: High School Schedule: Mondays for the school year Learning Goals: Using The Classical Historian curriculum, students will learn how to develop arguments that are grounded in historical evidence. They will debate and discuss couples issues from throughout American history. Homework: Homework will consist of reading, writing (short answer, paragraphs, essays), research and watching videos. Estimated time outside of class: One to six hours per week, depending on reading and writing speed. Assessment: The learner will be assessed with narrative feedback via progress report based on homework completion and class participation. The instructor will also grade essays and issue grades based on essays, homework completion and class participation.
